HARLEM, N.Y. — A 47-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday night in Harlem, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 10:56 p.m. reporting a shooting near 2949 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in the 32nd Precinct. Upon arrival, officers discovered David Brown, 47, with multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen.
Emergency medical services transported Brown to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the fatal shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The NYPD has not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or a possible motive.
