QUEENS, N.Y. — A 60-year-old woman was attacked and robbed Thursday night at the 36th Street train station, according to police. The assailant kicked the victim in the back and legs, pushed her to the ground, and forcibly took her bag before fleeing on foot.
Emergency Medical Services transported the woman to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. Authorities did not release further details about the victim’s injuries.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium build and light complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue beanie, a red and yellow scarf, a burgundy coat, gray shorts, and black sneakers.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage of the incident and have shared images of the suspect with the public. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact authorities.
The individual’s identity and whereabouts remain unknown as police continue their search.
