WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A 25-year-old Wilkes-Barre woman was arrested late Saturday night following a domestic dispute that escalated into an alleged physical assault, according to police.
Officers from the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department responded to a residence on Dana Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a domestic altercation. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, a 33-year-old man, who reported that he had been involved in a verbal argument with the defendant, identified as Lordae Buckley.
The victim told police the altercation began after Buckley accused him of going through his phone. According to the victim, Buckley struck him in the face during the argument.
Buckley was taken into custody at the scene and transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and arraigned.
Authorities have not released further details about the incident, and no information on injuries was provided. The case remains under investigation.
