MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A 17-year-old male was fatally stabbed Thursday evening during a violent altercation in Lower Manhattan, police said.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:34 p.m. in front of 182 Broadway, where the victim, identified as Yeremi Colino, was approached by three unidentified males. According to authorities, the group engaged the teen in a verbal dispute before punching and kicking him. One of the individuals then stabbed Colino in the chest with a knife.

The suspects fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Broadway before entering the subway at the Fulton Street station.
Emergency Medical Services transported Colino to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the attack. No arrests have been made as of Friday.
The fatal stabbing marks a disturbing act of violence in a heavily trafficked area of Manhattan.
