SUFFERN, N.Y. — Hundreds of residents lined Lafayette Avenue on Saturday to enjoy the annual Village of Suffern Holiday Parade, marking the start of the holiday season in Rockland County.
The parade featured a procession of first responder vehicles, holiday-themed floats, and performances by groups including the Rockland County Police Emerald Society Pipes & Drums Band and the Suffern High School Band.
District Attorney Tom Walsh and Chief Assistant District Attorney Patrick Frawley joined the celebration, which has become a cherished tradition for the local community.
Mayor Michael Curley, village staff, and the parade committee were recognized for their efforts in organizing the event, which brought together residents and participants from across the area.
The parade continues to serve as a highlight of the season, offering festive entertainment and a strong sense of community.
