TRENTON, NJ – A Jersey Cash 5 ticket sold in Ocean County hit the jackpot on Friday, Dec. 6, earning a staggering $1,883,824 prize for one lucky player. The winning ticket was purchased at Silverton Buyrite on Hooper Avenue in Toms River.
The winning numbers for the draw were 07, 21, 28, 31, and 38, with an XTRA number of 02 and a Bullseye number of 31. The jackpot marked one of the highest single-ticket wins in recent months for the popular New Jersey game.
The excitement continued the next evening in Bergen County, where another player claimed a $150,000 jackpot. That ticket, purchased at a 7-Eleven on East Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus, matched all five numbers from Saturday’s draw: 14, 16, 27, 30, and 35. The XTRA number was 03, and the Bullseye number was 35.
Both retailers who sold the winning tickets will receive $2,000 bonuses from the New Jersey Lottery for their role in the weekend’s back-to-back jackpots.
With the jackpot reset, Monday night’s Jersey Cash 5 prize was estimated at $175,000, ensuring another opportunity for players across the state to test their luck.
