BALTIMORE, MD — Police are investigating a series of shootings that occurred in four districts across Baltimore between Friday evening and Saturday night, leaving multiple victims injured.
On Saturday, December 7, at approximately 6:57 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2900 block of Parkwood Avenue after receiving a Shot Spotter alert. Officers discovered a 21-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Earlier on Saturday, at approximately 2:33 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of West Patapsco Avenue for a report of a shooting. A 25-year-old male was found with gunshot wounds and transported to a hospital, where he is in stable condition. While still investigating, police were notified of a 27-year-old male walk-in shooting victim at another area hospital. This second victim, linked to the same incident, is listed in critical condition.
At approximately 12:31 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. The 26-year-old male victim had been shot in the 2200 block of Boston Street, where a crime scene was located. He is being treated for his injuries.
Late Friday night, December 6, at approximately 11:34 p.m., officers responded to a hospital for a walk-in victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Investigators determined that the 20-year-old male victim was shot during an assault in the 3600 block of Garrison Boulevard.
