Gunfire Erupts in Penn Hills Leaving One Dead, One Injured Overnight

PENN HILLS, Pa. — Allegheny County Police are investigating a late-night shooting in Penn Hills that left one man dead and another injured.

Authorities responded to a 911 call at approximately 11:49 p.m. Tuesday about a shooting in the 200 block of Universal Road. Upon arrival, first responders discovered an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

While investigators processed the scene, a second adult male arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. He is reported to be in stable condition, and it remains unclear how or if the two incidents are connected.

The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit has launched an investigation but has not yet identified any suspects or established a motive for the shooting.
