Two New Jersey players win $50K Powerball prizes as jackpot rises to $260M

TRENTON, N.J. — Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players each won $50,000 in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing after matching four of the five white balls and the Powerball, officials announced.

The winning tickets were sold at Quick Mart on Knopf Street in Linden, Union County, and Welsh Farms #4 on West Main Street in Farmingdale, Monmouth County.

The winning numbers for the December 4 drawing were 01, 23, 25, 28, 61, with a Powerball of 13 and a Power Play of 2X.

No player won the jackpot, which has now risen to over $260 million for the next drawing on Saturday.

Players across the state are encouraged to check their tickets as excitement builds for the growing prize.
