Hyattsville, Md. — A Maryland Lottery player from New Carrollton scored a $75,000 top prize playing the fast play The Game of Life™ ticket, giving him a significant financial boost as he begins his journey into adulthood.

The winning ticket was purchased at David’s Liquors, located at 7025 Annapolis Road in Hyattsville. The $5 ticket, which launched on July 1, offers nine more top prizes of $75,000, along with hundreds of thousands of additional prizes ranging from $5 to $500.

The 20-something winner, who redeemed his ticket on December 2 at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, was the first to claim the game’s top prize.
