Surveillance captures suspect in Southeast DC shooting

Washington, D.C. — Gunfire erupted early Sunday morning on November 24 in Southeast DC, leaving behind evidence of a shooting but no reported injuries, according to officials.

The incident took place at approximately 2:04 a.m. in the 400 block of 8th Street, Southeast. When First District officers arrived, they found signs of gunfire but did not locate any victims at the scene.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect, which have been released to the public as part of the investigation.
