PHILADELPHIA, PA — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of stealing a wallet from a victim in an elevator on Chestnut Street last month and using the stolen credit cards.
The incident occurred on November 14 at approximately 1:25 p.m. as the victim attempted to exit an elevator in a building located at 1101 Chestnut Street. Authorities believe the same individuals may be connected to several other similar thefts reported in the city’s 9th District.
Both suspects are described as Black males in their 50s, wearing glasses. One was last seen wearing a white knit hat, gray sweatshirt, and black-and-white sneakers. The other wore a tan hat, red-orange puffy jacket, gray pants, and white sneakers.
