Royersford, Pa. — A Powerball ticket with Power Play worth $100,000 was sold at a Wawa in Montgomery County, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Tuesday.
The winning ticket, purchased at Wawa at 934 Main Street in Royersford, matched four of the five white balls drawn—3, 9, 26, 61, 67—and the red Powerball 13 in the Dec. 2 drawing. The ticket’s value doubled from $50,000 to $100,000 due to the $1 Power Play option and the multiplier drawn being two.
The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Powerball winners in Pennsylvania have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes, and lottery officials encourage winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately.
More than 25,300 other Pennsylvania Lottery tickets won prizes in the drawing, including more than 5,400 purchased with Power Play and over 3,000 with Double Play. The next Powerball jackpot, scheduled for Dec. 4, has climbed to an estimated $240 million annuity or $113.6 million in cash.
