TRENTON, NJ — Two New Jersey Lottery players struck it big, winning $50,000 each in the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, November 27, after matching four white balls and the Powerball.
The winning tickets were purchased at Old Bridge Card Smart on U.S. Highway 9 in Old Bridge, Middlesex County, and Archie’s Liquor on Main Avenue in Passaic, Passaic County, according to lottery officials. The winning numbers were 01, 06, 07, 13, 40, with the Powerball 05 and Powerplay multiplier 5X.
While the jackpot prize eluded players once again, rolling over to an estimated $214 million for Saturday’s drawing, the $50,000 wins highlight smaller yet significant prizes up for grabs in the multi-state game.
In the Double Play drawing, a feature offering additional chances to win up to $10 million for participating tickets, no players matched the numbers 19, 37, 41, 42, 62, and Double Play ball 13.
The New Jersey Lottery congratulated the latest winners, reminding players to check their tickets for any potential prizes.
