Manchester police seek help identifying suspect in smoke shop burglary

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect caught on surveillance footage during a burglary at the Te-Amo Smoke Shop in Crestwood Village earlier this month.

According to the Manchester Township Police Department, the incident occurred on November 13 at approximately 4:40 a.m. The suspect broke into the smoke shop, located at 550 Route 530, Unit 15, and stole $8,074.83 in cash and merchandise, including money from the shop’s ATM.

Authorities released images of the suspect captured by surveillance cameras in hopes that someone will recognize the individual.

Investigators have not released further details about the suspect’s identity or appearance beyond what is visible in the footage.

Police are urging anyone with information about the burglary or the suspect to contact the Manchester Township Police Department at 732-657-6111.
