Biden Confirms Trump Suspicions: The DOJ Is Politically Weaponized Against Americans, in Hunter Pardon Confession

President Joe Biden has just confirmed what Donald Trump has been saying for years. The Department of Justice has become weaponized and is unfairly prosecuting Americans, including his own son, Hunter.

President Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, has sent political shockwaves through the country, igniting debates on fairness, justice, and the ever-blurry line between personal and political actions. In his statement, Biden doubled down on his belief that his son was “selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted,” citing political motivations behind the charges.

Biden’s statement on the matter confirmed America’s worst fears. The Department of Justice is targeting political opponents, claiming the Department of Justice is working with elected officials and caving to political pressure to prosecute Americans unfairly.

“The charges in his cases came about only after several of my political opponents in Congress instigated them to attack me and oppose my election. Then, a carefully negotiated plea deal, agreed to by the Department of Justice, unraveled in the court room – with a number of my political opponents in Congress taking credit for bringing political pressure on the process. Had the plea deal held, it would have been a fair, reasonable resolution of Hunter’s cases,” Biden said.

The pardon also marks a turning point in Biden’s acknowledgment of perceived political weaponization within the Department of Justice—a stance that resonates with criticisms long championed by Donald Trump and his supporters.

“Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice,” President Trump said.

Biden’s detailed justification paints a picture of a justice system infected by partisanship.

He claims that charges related to Hunter’s tax filings and gun form discrepancies were unusually severe, especially considering the lack of aggravating factors often required for prosecution. Biden’s assertion that his son’s cases only advanced due to pressure from political opponents in Congress adds to a growing narrative about the justice system’s vulnerability to outside influences.

This admission plays right into the hands of Trump, who has often decried the DOJ as politically biased against him and his allies. Biden’s statement that “raw politics has infected this process” inadvertently echoes Trump’s own grievances, giving the former president a rhetorical boost as he continues to face legal challenges of his own. Trump, likely seizing the opportunity, could leverage Biden’s words to justify broader pardons for January 6th protesters or others he deems victims of political persecution.

The timing of Biden’s decision, coupled with his candid remarks, has already stirred reactions from across the political spectrum. Republicans have decried the pardon as hypocritical and self-serving, pointing to Biden’s earlier promises to stay out of DOJ matters. Democrats find themselves in a tight spot, balancing loyalty to the president with the need to defend the independence of the judiciary.

In the court of public opinion, the verdict is far from settled.

Trump has already vowed to pardon January 6th protesters. Pundits believe the Hunter Biden pardon will allow Trump’s pardon a political path to make sure that happens.

In light of the pardon, FBI’s Miami office issued the following plea to Americans, “This mission of the FBI is to protect the American people and uphold the U.S. Constitution. Learn more about our priorities and strategy.”

The agency was widely ridiculed on X after making that statement.
