BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The death of a 56-year-old woman found unconscious earlier this month in Brownsville has been ruled a homicide, according to police.
Idell Holloway, of Belmont Avenue, was discovered on Saturday, November 16, at approximately 8:30 a.m., at 365 Sackman Street in the confines of the NYPD’s 73rd Precinct and Police Service Area 2. Responding officers found Holloway unconscious and unresponsive.
Emergency medical services transported her to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. On Monday, November 25, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Holloway’s death was a result of homicide.
No arrests have been made in the case, and the NYPD has stated that the investigation is ongoing.
