Rockland County DA’s Office supports People to People Thanksgiving food drive

NEW CITY, N.Y. — The Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, under District Attorney Tom Walsh, continued its annual tradition of supporting People to People, Rockland County’s largest hunger relief organization, by hosting a Thanksgiving food drive to help local families in need.

People to People, based in Nanuet, provides turkeys and all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to over 2,000 families each year, feeding more than 6,000 Rockland residents. The District Attorney’s Office collected and donated food items as part of this effort, underscoring their commitment to serving the community beyond the courtroom.

DA Walsh expressed gratitude to the volunteers and staff at People to People for their dedication to combating hunger and wished all Rockland residents a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Pictured in the drive were DA Walsh alongside Chief Assistant District Attorney Patrick Frawley, Director of IT Garnett Bosse, Senior Assistant District Attorney Joseph Santangelo, and legal assistant Tina Thermadam.

This initiative highlights a spirit of giving in Rockland County, as neighbors come together to support one another during the holiday season.
