CityCenterDC holiday tree lighting to bring street closures and parking restrictions

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The CityCenterDC Holiday Tree Lighting scheduled for Saturday, November 30, is expected to draw large crowds and prompt significant street closures and parking restrictions in the downtown area.

From 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., emergency no-parking zones will be in effect on 10th Street between H Street and New York Avenue, NW, and on I Street between 9th Street and 10th Street, NW. Vehicles parked in violation of these restrictions will be ticketed and towed.

During the same timeframe, vehicle traffic will be prohibited on 10th Street between H Street and New York Avenue, NW, and on I Street between 9th Street and 10th Street, NW. Drivers in the area are advised to anticipate possible delays and to consider alternative routes.
