WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Wall Township police detailed a series of arrests over the past week, including incidents involving driving while intoxicated, shoplifting, and outstanding warrants.
On Monday, November 18, Patrolman T.J. Powers arrested David F. Taylor 2nd, 38, of Neptune, during a motor vehicle stop on Route 138. Taylor was wanted on a warrant issued by Newark City Court. He was processed and released.
Later in the week, Patrolman Kevin Donegan stopped Jose E. Huexotl-Mendez, 46, of Lakewood, on Allenwood Lakewood Road on Tuesday, November 19. Lakewood Municipal Court had issued a warrant for his arrest, and he was released after posting bail. Patrolman Alfredo Flores arrested Melissa A. Flynn, 42, of Atlantic City, the same day, on a Wall Township Municipal Court warrant. She was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Several arrests for driving while intoxicated followed. On November 21, Patrolman Karleigh Cacciatore arrested Thomas A. Ganley, 58, of Sea Girt, after a crash on 18th Avenue, and on November 24, Patrolman Joe Phillips arrested Zachary S. Frankel, 24, of Wall Township, following a collision on Marconi Road. Patrolman Kevin Orender also stopped Oscar M. Chajon, 40, of Spring Lake Heights, for DWI on Route 34 the same day. All three were processed and released under John’s Law.
In other incidents, Patrolman Jerry Baker arrested Richard W. Durham, 38, of Toms River, on November 23 after investigating a disabled vehicle on Interstate 195. Durham was found in possession of Xanax and Adderall without valid prescriptions and was taken to Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Patrolman Alfredo Flores also arrested Kenneth Burke, 54, of Camden, for shoplifting at the ShopRite on Route 35 on November 24. Burke was processed and released.
