Radical Democrat Group Vanishes From Facebook, Admins Go Into Hiding After Failed Jersey Shore Anti-Trump Boycott Failed Bigly

RED BANK, NJ – A radical Democrat group called “Indivisible Two Rivers” has vanished from Facebook days after calling upon its progressive keyboard warriors to boycott dozens of shore area businesses because they may or may not have supported President Donald Trump in his stunning across the board defeat of Democrats on Election Day.

Today, that group is gone, and the owners are in hiding, saying they are now being threatened online.

While Indivisible Two Rivers is gone, dozens of like-minded, destruction-focused groups are active in New Jersey under the Indivisible flagship. You can see the list of radical groups operating in your part of New Jersey here: Indivisible Groups in New Jersey.

On Reddit, in the r/NewJersey subreddit, keyboard warriors are calling to continue the boycott after their fearless leaders have gone into hiding. And get this, they’re now even calling for a boycott of Shore News Network.

“Who did what?” a spokesperson for SNN said today when alerted of the radical left-wing boycott against it, which literally got one upvote.

A controversy involving a politically charged boycott of local businesses in Monmouth County, New Jersey, has taken a surprising turn, drawing sharp criticism and calls for community solidarity. The boycott, initiated by a local chapter of the progressive group Indivisible, targeted businesses it claimed had ties to former President Donald Trump and his supporters. However, the effort quickly unraveled, with the group deleting its Facebook page and its leaders retreating from the public eye, citing threats and intimidation.

The boycott list, which purported to identify businesses aligned with conservative politics, has been widely criticized for inaccuracies, including the inclusion of businesses with no known political affiliations and even some owned by Democrats. Taliercio’s Ultimate Gourmet, a family-owned establishment, publicly decried its inclusion, stating it had never taken a political stance. This sentiment has been echoed by other business owners who found themselves entangled in the controversy without cause.

State Senator Declan O’Scanlon condemned the boycott, calling it divisive and detrimental to the community. “These efforts to damage the livelihoods of Monmouth County small business owners over political differences are unacceptable,” O’Scanlon stated, urging residents to counter the boycott with a “buycott,” actively supporting the targeted businesses. The call to action has galvanized local residents who view the boycott as an attack on the small businesses that are the backbone of the local economy.

The boycott has also drawn criticism from across the political spectrum. State Senator Vin Gopal, a Democrat, joined O’Scanlon in denouncing the effort, underscoring the need for mutual respect and unity. This bipartisan condemnation highlights the shared concern over the potential economic harm to local businesses and their employees.

In the aftermath of the failed boycott, community members have rallied around the targeted businesses, with many pledging to patronize them as an act of solidarity. The controversy has sparked broader conversations about the intersection of politics and commerce, with calls for a more respectful and collaborative approach to addressing differences within the community.

As the dust settles, the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of fostering dialogue and understanding in local communities. The residents of Monmouth County have responded to this divisive moment by emphasizing their shared values and commitment to supporting one another, turning a fraught situation into an opportunity to celebrate and uplift their local economy.
