BALTIMORE, MD — Two men were hospitalized with gunshot wounds after a shooting Thursday night in Baltimore’s Western District, police said.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1600 block of McCulloh Street around 9:43 p.m. During their canvass, officers found a 51-year-old man with a gunshot wound in the 400 block of Wilson Street. A second victim, a 34-year-old man, was located with a gunshot wound in the 1700 block of Druid Hill Avenue.
Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries. Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting occurred in the 400 block of Wilson Street.
Western District Shooting detectives have taken over the case and are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the attack.
