LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A fatal crash early Friday morning in Chantilly claimed the lives of two men and left two others injured after a vehicle struck a tree and overturned, authorities said.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office reported that the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Tall Cedars Parkway. A 2023 Ford Mustang, heading east, veered off the road, collided with a tree, and rolled over, according to preliminary findings.
Two male passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a female passenger were transported to the hospital with injuries, but their conditions were not immediately known as of Friday morning.
The crash forced the closure of all lanes on Tall Cedars Parkway for several hours overnight. Officials reopened the roadway shortly after 7:30 a.m.
The incident remains under investigation as deputies work to determine what caused the car to veer off the road.
