34-year-old man fatally shot on Frankford Avenue in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A 34-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found with a life-threatening gunshot wound Thursday evening in Baltimore’s Northeast District, authorities said.

Officers responded to the 4900 block of Frankford Avenue around 5:22 p.m. for a report of a discharging. Upon arrival, they found the victim unresponsive. Medics pronounced the man deceased at the scene, and the Medical Examiner’s Office was notified.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
