MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Sunday evening in the Acline Avenue area, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 6:12 p.m. and located one victim who was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or details about their condition.
Law enforcement officials have increased their presence in the area as the investigation continues. It remains unclear what led to the shooting, and police have not announced any arrests or identified a suspect.
