Homestead, PA** – The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations and Homicide Units responded to a call for assistance regarding a shooting in Homestead.

On Wednesday at 5:41 p.m., County 9-1-1 received a report of shots fired at a residence in the 1700 block of McClure Street. First responders found a man with a lower leg injury sustained from jumping out of a window during the incident, but he was not hit by gunfire. The victim was transported to a hospital in stable condition by EMS.

Shortly after, another individual with two gunshot wounds, one to the face and one to the abdomen, arrived at a local hospital by private means. This person stated they were shot at the same Homestead location. They are currently in stable condition. Detectives have begun an investigation, with initial findings indicating that the man who jumped from the window was exchanging gunfire with the other individual.
