Jackpot joy as $300K lottery ticket sold in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — A Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth $300,000 was sold in Allegheny County for the Pennsylvania Lottery’s November 12 drawing, officials announced Wednesday.

The winning ticket, which matched all five numbers — 1, 3, 16, 24, and 38 — was purchased at Coen, a convenience store located at 2401 East Carson St. in Pittsburgh. For selling the jackpot-winning ticket, Coen will receive a $500 bonus.

The Pennsylvania Lottery notes that winners can only be identified after they claim their prize and the ticket is validated. The main Cash 5 prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

Over 9,800 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won smaller prizes in the same drawing. Players are encouraged to check their tickets carefully and claim any lower-tier prizes at authorized retailers.
