NEWBURGH, N.Y. — A Powerball Powerplay ticket worth $150,000 was sold in Newburgh, making one lucky New York Lottery player a third-prize winner in the November 11 drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Rd. in Newburgh. The ticket matched enough numbers to secure a $50,000 prize, tripled to $150,000 thanks to the Power Play option.

Powerball numbers are drawn from one to 69, with the Power Ball drawn from a separate pool of one to 26. The Power Play multiplier, available as an optional add-on, can boost non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times.

Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., offering players multiple chances to win each week.
