Man left critically injured in D.C. robbery as suspects remain at large

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man found unconscious in Northwest D.C. early Sunday morning is believed to be the victim of a violent robbery, and investigators are now searching for the suspects involved in a string of related crimes across the city. The incident began around 5:00 a.m. on October 27, when the victim was discovered with critical injuries on the 500 block of T Street, Northwest. He was taken to a hospital as detectives worked to identify him.

The investigation has since revealed that two suspects robbed the man and are believed to be connected to at least three additional offenses that occurred shortly after. Around 5:50 a.m., the suspects attempted to rob two people on the 1900 block of 14th Street, Northwest, assaulting the victims before fleeing. Minutes later, they successfully robbed another victim on the 1800 block of Vermont Avenue, Northwest, followed by a third robbery at 7:22 a.m. in the 900 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast.
