Waldorf, MD – A Powerball player from Charles County claimed a $150,000 prize in the October 30 drawing by using the Power Play option. The ticket was among 6,810 winning tickets sold in Maryland for that drawing, with prizes starting from $4.
The ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven located at 11575 Berry Road in Waldorf. The winning numbers drawn were 13, 22, 29, 43, 58, with Powerball number 22 and a Power Play multiplier of 3.
No one claimed the jackpot, allowing it to rise to an estimated $54 million for the drawing on November 2. The cash option for the jackpot was estimated at $25.8 million.
The $150,000 prize winner is Maryland’s 52nd third-tier Powerball winner this year. Lottery participants are advised to sign the back of their tickets and store them securely, with prize claims required within 182 days of drawing. Prize claims over $25,000 must be processed at the Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, where in-person claims require an appointment.
