Rockville police investigate series of commercial burglaries along Rockville Pike

ROCKVILLE, Md. — The Rockville City Police Department is investigating a string of commercial burglaries that took place in the early hours of October 23, targeting businesses along Rockville Pike. According to police, the burglaries occurred between 1:00 a.m. and 1:40 a.m. at establishments ranging from the 800 block to the 1600 block of the busy commercial strip.

Investigators reported that the suspects broke the glass at multiple businesses to gain entry, stealing cash and merchandise before fleeing the scene. All suspects were masked at the time of the incidents and are believed to have escaped in a white Audi Q5.

Authorities indicated that these burglaries may be connected to similar incidents in the county, but details on other cases were not immediately provided. The Rockville City Police Department is actively working with other law enforcement agencies to determine the extent of the connection.
