TOMS RIVER, N.J. — The Toms River Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 is gearing up for its 85th annual Halloween Parade with a pre-registration event this Saturday during the Toms River Community Appreciation Halloween Party.
The pre-registration will be held on Washington Street between Main Street and Robbins Street from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., where attendees can sign up for the parade while enjoying the festivities. The Halloween Parade is scheduled for October 31.
Assistant Fire Chief Carl Weingroff announced that regular registration for the parade will be open on the day of the event from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the firehouse located at 26 Robbins Street.
“We encourage everyone to come down and have some fun this weekend while getting ready for one of Toms River’s biggest traditions,” the fire company stated.
The Toms River Halloween Parade is one of the largest in the nation, drawing thousands of participants and spectators annually.
