Warm Weather Returns to New Jersey Through Wednesday

This week in New Jersey, the weather will start off with unseasonably warm temperatures before cooling down as the week progresses. Today and tomorrow, you’ll enjoy sunny skies with highs reaching around 81°F, which is quite mild for this time of year.

Typically, highs in late October tend to hover around the mid-60s, so this warmer stretch is a bit above average. Winds will remain light, with a calm breeze from the west today, shifting to the south by tomorrow.

As we move into Wednesday, conditions will still be pleasant, with a high near 78°F and mostly sunny skies. However, the first noticeable dip in temperatures will come on Thursday, when the high will only reach around 65°F. This cooler trend will persist into the weekend. By Thursday night, lows will fall to a chilly 37°F, which is much closer to the seasonal norm for this time of year. Friday will see similar conditions, with highs in the mid-60s during the day and lows dipping into the mid-40s at night.
