NEW YORK, N.Y. – Two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets from the Oct. 19 drawing have been sold in New York, according to the New York Lottery. Each ticket is worth $50,000.
The winning tickets were sold at:
• Lucky Star Liquor and Wine 1, located at 251-22 Hillside Avenue in Bellerose
• Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh
Powerball numbers are drawn from a field of 1 to 69, with the red Power Ball selected from a separate field of 1 to 26. Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
