PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division is seeking assistance from the public in identifying three suspects involved in a robbery that occurred last month in Center City.
On September 22, at approximately 7:59 p.m., a 31-year-old man was assaulted near 1500 JFK Boulevard. According to authorities, the victim was punched multiple times before being kicked while on the ground. One of the suspects then rummaged through the victim’s pockets and took his wallet.
The police have released descriptions of the three suspects involved in the attack. The first suspect is described as a Black male with a thin build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and gray shorts. The second suspect is described as a Black male with a heavy build, wearing a dark t-shirt with the letters “KORS” on the front and gray sweatpants. The third suspect is a Black male with a thin build, wearing a “Phillies” hat, gray jacket, and gray pants.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Central Detective Division. Police have also provided video footage and still images of the suspects in an effort to identify them.
The investigation remains ongoing.
