The Baltimore Police Department is actively searching for 24-year-old John Callis, wanted for a brutal assault that occurred after the Baltimore Ravens game on October 13, 2024. The attack took place in the 1000 block of South Charles Street, where Callis was captured on video assaulting two Washington Commanders fans, both aged 23. The unprovoked attack has led to charges of first-degree aggravated assault and three counts of second-degree assault against Callis.
According to authorities, the assault was recorded following the NFL game, and the footage shows Callis striking one of the victims without any apparent cause. Baltimore police released Callis’s name and photo, urging the public to provide any information regarding his whereabouts.
The charges against Callis are serious, with first-degree aggravated assault carrying a potential sentence of up to 25 years in Maryland.
