Washington, DC – An alarming shooting incident in Northwest DC has prompted authorities to seek public assistance in identifying the suspects involved.
On October 11, 2024, at approximately 12:10 p.m., the suspects approached the victim in the Unit block of Banner Lane, Northwest. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim managed to fight off the suspects, but during the altercation, he was shot, sustaining a non-life-threatening injury. The suspects fled the scene without taking anything.
Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the suspects, which may assist in the investigation.

The department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.
