Maryland Residents Take Home $30 Million in Lottery Winnnings This Week

Baltimore, MD- Maryland Lottery announced that the total prizes awarded last week exceeded $30.7 million. Among the winners were a $2 million scratch-off winner from Owings Mills and a Cash4Life ticket holder in Olney receiving $1,000 weekly for life.

The week from Oct. 7 to Oct. 13 saw 28 tickets valued at $10,000 or more either sold or claimed. To ensure safety, winners are urged to sign their tickets and store them securely. Scratch-off tickets have specific claim deadlines available on the Maryland Lottery website.

For prizes above $25,000, winners must visit the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore by appointment. Prizes up to $25,000 are redeemable at state casinos, while those up to $5,000 can be claimed at various XCAP locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers can process prize claims up to $600.

Notable recent prizes included a $96,903 Fast Play win in Silver Spring and a $50,000 Powerball ticket in Bethesda. Multiple Pick 5 tickets of $25,000 and higher were sold across the state.
