High School South Marching Band Wins First Place at Tournament of Bands Spectacular

Jackson, NJ—High School South’s Marching Indians claimed first place in Group A at the Tournament of Bands Spectacular, held this past weekend at Jackson Liberty High School.

The victory comes just one week after the band secured second place at the Music Under the Stars event. Along with their first-place finish, the Marching Indians also received the Best Music and Best Visual awards in their group.

Band leaders Christopher Test, Laura Carattini, and Stephanie Chelston expressed immense pride in the students’ dedication and hard work throughout the year.

The Tournament of Bands event is part of a series of competitions in which high school bands showcase their musical and visual performance talents.
