JACKSON, Minn. — Allegations have surfaced on social media against Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, accompanied by claims of incriminating photographs from his early visits to China. The posts, made by an account known as “Black Insurrectionist,” promise to release a series of accusations, although their veracity remains unclear.
Their intent is very clear: They allege the Vice President acted inappropriately with students. At this time, the rumor is completely unsubstantiated, but it is being shared feverishly on social media.
The posts, shared on X (formerly Twitter), were made by an individual claiming to have information from multiple accusers, including corroborated testimonies. The posts allege misconduct, personal secrets involving the governor, and claims about Walz’s professional history. The user, who has not revealed their identity, indicated that detailed accusations would be released over the day, with additional posts potentially following.
Some of those allegations involve alleged relationships with students during those visits and intimate encounters that cross the normal boundaries of a teacher-student relationship.
None of the allegations have been independently confirmed to date. No complaints or charges have ever been filed against the Minnesota Governor to corroborate the claims.
As of Sunday morning, Gov. Walz has not publicly responded to the accusations, and no official investigation has been announced. The claims made in the posts have not been independently verified, and the nature of the evidence to be shared remains uncertain.
The social media user also addressed rumors about collaboration with law enforcement, asserting that the extent of that cooperation has been overstated. In the same posts, they also noted that one accuser has not publicly come forward.
The internet has nicknamed Walz “Touchdown Tim” in light of these new allegations.
The accusations come as Gov. Walz continues to serve his second term as Minnesota’s governor following his re-election in 2022 and his run for Vice President of the United States.
His office has not stated the allegations or purportedly released related material.
This is not the first time shocking allegations have been raised during this presidential election cycle. It started with an attack by Tim Walz alleging J.D. Vance had sexual relations with Couch. That culminated with Walz saying Vance should spend “less time on the couch.”
In response, the right created a false narrative that Tim Walz had once drunk horse semen and had to have his stomach pumped, but that, too, turned out to be a rumor that started online.
It is not certain where this later vicious rumor will lead Tim Walz or those perpetuating it. If the Harris-Walz campaign respond to these rumors, this article will be updated.
