BALTIMORE, MD – A shooting investigation has been initiated following an incident on October 9.
At approximately 7:15 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of E. Lafayette Street after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 22-year-old male victim suffering from a graze wound to the head. Medics treated the victim on the scene.
The victim reported that he was sitting in a vehicle when an unidentified individual opened fire on it. Officers have identified a crime scene in the 1700 block of Hollins Street.
Detectives from the Southwestern District Shooting unit have taken over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact them at 410-396-2488.
