NORTH YORK, Pa. — Police have released updated photos of two suspects accused of stealing a road construction milling machine and driving it through a park, causing extensive damage earlier this week. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on October 6, when two individuals reportedly stole the Wirtgen W50 DCi milling machine from a construction site at N. George St. and 8th Ave., authorities said.

The equipment, owned by Kinsley Construction, was driven to Kauffman Park, where the suspects used it to drive across the basketball court, damaging park benches, trash cans, and parking signs, according to police. The machine eventually became stuck in the grass and was abandoned.

The Northern York County Regional Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the department at 717-467-TELL (8355) or tips@nycrpd.org, referencing case number 2024-043655.
