Delaware State Police investigating armed robbery at Wilmington Papa John’s

WILMINGTON, Del. — Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning at a Papa John’s location on Lancaster Pike. According to investigators, an unidentified male suspect entered the pizza store around 3:00 a.m. on October 1, 2024, and confronted two employees at gunpoint, demanding cash.

The suspect, described as a black male wearing dark-colored clothing, fled the scene after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money. No surveillance footage or images of the suspect are currently available.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit is leading the investigation and is asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact Detective R. Strecker at (302) 365-8413. Tips can also be provided anonymously through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
