BALTIMORE, Md. — A 25-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection with a shooting that critically injured a man last week in the Northern District, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Nasya Duvall was taken into custody on October 1, 2024, at a residence in the 1700 block of Cliftview Avenue. The arrest follows an investigation into the September 27 shooting on Greenmount Avenue that left a 49-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Northern District detectives were able to identify Duvall as the suspect after reviewing surveillance footage from the scene. Duvall, who had been arrested previously, was recognized by officers from the Northern District Action Team. A warrant for his arrest was approved on September 30.

Duvall was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder. He is currently being held without bail.

The victim remains in critical but stable condition.
