Delaware State Police Investigate Bridgeville Shooting

Bridgeville, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Mill Park Drive in Bridgeville on Tuesday, leaving one man injured.

Troopers responded to a report of a shooting on the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive at approximately 1:47 p.m. According to authorities, a 20-year-old man, who sustained gunshot wounds to his leg, was transported to a nearby hospital by private vehicle. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting happened during an argument. An unknown suspect fired several rounds, hitting the victim in the leg.
