PHILADELPHIA — Three men were injured in two separate shootings in Philadelphia on Sunday evening, police said. The incidents occurred in West and North Philadelphia, with all victims currently listed in stable condition.
The first shooting took place on the unit block of South Millick Street at approximately 7:49 p.m. A 48-year-old man was shot once in the left foot. Officers transported the victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. No arrests have been made, and no weapon was recovered. The scene remains under investigation.
Earlier, at 7:19 p.m., a double shooting occurred on the 3800 block of North Percy Street in the city’s 25th District. A 38-year-old man sustained a graze wound to the head and was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition. A second victim, a 22-year-old male, was shot in the right foot and was transported by medics to Albert Einstein Hospital, where he is also stable.
Police recovered a weapon at the scene of the second shooting and are treating the 38-year-old victim as a prisoner. Both crime scenes are being held as investigations continue.
