PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Michael Garruto, a 48-year-old mobile mechanic who was last seen on September 13. Garruto, who lives on the 100 block of W Allens Lane, was reportedly working on a vehicle near 2000 Ellsworth Street before he went missing.
Garruto was believed to have been in his white 2009 Chevrolet Express box truck, which bears Pennsylvania license plate #ZWV-8800, at the time of his disappearance. Authorities have not provided details on what he was wearing when last seen.
He is described as standing 5’9″ tall, weighing 240 pounds, with brown eyes, greying brown hair, and a full beard.
The Northeast Detective Division is asking anyone with information on Garruto’s whereabouts to call 215-686-3153.
