LINTHICUM, Md. — Three men have been arrested following a shooting incident on September 11, 2024, in the 1100 block of Winterson Road, police said. The arrests came after an argument escalated into a violent confrontation involving firearms.
According to investigators, a 36-year-old male victim, who knew the suspects, was involved in a dispute when two of the men pulled out guns. During the altercation, one suspect struck the victim in the head with a firearm, and another suspect pushed over the victim’s motorcycle before fleeing the scene in a vehicle driven by a third suspect. As the victim chased the vehicle on foot, one of the occupants fired several shots at him, though none of the bullets hit the victim. Officers later recovered several spent shell casings from the scene.
Through investigative efforts, detectives identified two of the three suspects and applied for criminal charges. On September 12, 2024, authorities executed a search warrant in the 10,000 block of York Road in Cockeysville, leading to the arrest of all three suspects. Police also recovered a loaded .22 caliber Phoenix Arms pistol, a loaded 9mm Walther pistol, and additional ammunition.
The suspects were identified as Aaron Hofner, 26, of Dundalk; Robert Patrick Field, 48, of Grasonville; and Ryan Marquise Taylor, 32, of Baltimore. All three men have been charged with attempted murder, assault, and weapons-related offenses.
The investigation remains ongoing as the suspects await further court proceedings.
