BRONX, N.Y. — Police are searching for three suspects who allegedly robbed a 14-year-old boy aboard a northbound “5” train near the Pelham Parkway subway station on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. on September 9, 2024, as the train was pulling into the station. According to the report, three unidentified males approached the victim, forcibly removing him from the train onto the platform. The suspects then stole a chain from the victim’s neck before fleeing the station in an unknown direction.
The victim was not injured in the incident and remained at the station following the robbery.
The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, and gray sneakers. The second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, wearing a white tank top, gray pants, and black sneakers. The third suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, and black-and-gray sneakers.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspects to contact them.
