Ah, Kamala Harris. Our Vice President just delivered another one of her classic word salads—complete with a side of “I grew up middle-class” dressing.
Now, we know why she isn’t doing any interviews.
Let’s break it down. Kamala was asked a fairly straightforward question: “What are you going to do to bring down prices?” Her response? Well, instead of discussing any economic policy or strategy, she gave us a full biography, a tribute to her hardworking mother, and a nod to her neighborhood’s obsession with lawns.
You’ve got to love how she went from inflation to reminiscing about lawns in one seamless move.
NEW: Kamala Harris appears nervous during a new interview, is asked about how she plans to bring down prices and responds by saying she was raised in the middle class.

Nice.
Question: What are one or two specific things you have in mind for [bringing down prices]?
Kamala: I… pic.twitter.com/6ABUxbHJ4o
In fairness, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Kamala get creative with her answers. She’s got this unique ability to turn a question into a heartfelt speech about life, community, and the American Dream—without ever actually addressing the question.
It seems like her tactic here was to appeal to middle-class voters by sharing her own experience. But when you’re hoping for some concrete solutions about the economy, hearing about her mom’s hard work and the pride of lawn maintenance probably isn’t what people are looking for. Imagine telling someone struggling with grocery bills, “Hey, at least we’ve got great lawns, right?”
Kamala, we know you mean well, but next time we’re going to need something a bit more, you know, policy-oriented—like maybe how you plan to tackle inflation, improve wages, or reduce costs. Less lawn talk, more price talk, please.
